8th grader brings loaded gun to Toledo, Ohio school

A 15-year old 8th grade boy was found with a loaded .38 handgun in school, in Toledo, Ohio.

The boy admitted buying the gun on the street from someone he doesn't know, no background check required.

From an article and video:

Toledo police have arrested a student with a loaded gun at Raymer Elementary on Nevada Ave.
Police say the 15-year-old student was arrested at dismissal around 3:15 Friday afternoon.
School administrators say the principal was looking for a coat in a coat room. She moved a student's coat and found a loaded .380 handgun.
School leaders say no one was threatened with the weapon, and it was never shown in school.
Police say the student admitted to purchasing the weapon from someone on the street.
The 8th grader was arrested and taken to the Lucas County Juvenile Detention Center. He now faces charges, including carrying a concealed weapon, underage purchase of a firearm, and conveyance of a deadly weapon in a school zone.
The school says they called all the parents at Raymer Elementary to let them know about the incident.

Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
