17-year old San Francisco boy shot multiple times

A 17-year old boy was standing on a street corner with a relative in San Francisco, California, when a gunman opened fire, striking him multiple times.  He is in critical condition.

From an article:
“I think it’s pretty common,” said a male employee at the Kragen Auto Parts store, located near the site of the shooting. The employee, who asked to remain anonymous, said he has worked there for three years and shootings happen “at least once every six months.”
Down the block, a male worker at a Radio Shack store said co-workers inside the shop Saturday reported hearing three gunshots, followed by yelling.
“This is the first time on this corner in the daytime,” the employee said.
An initial police report said that the boy had been hit in the chest, left arm and right lower back. No one else was injured.
A motive for the attack remains unclear, and no arrests have been made. A teenage male was seen fleeing the scene, Manfredi said, but a detailed description of him was not available.
