4-year old boy shot in head in Houston drive-by

Isaiah Nicholas, age 4
A gunman drove up to a home in Houston, Texas and opened fire at the occupants inside.  A 4-year old boy was hit in the head.

From the article:

There are no details on a possible motive, but police tell KPRC-Channel 2 that “a woman was visiting the home when her boyfriend’s car stopped in front of the house and fired nine shots into the home, police said.”
The boy, identified by KPRC as Isaiah Nicholas, was reportedly hit in his temple area. He was inside the house with several other people.
Officers are looking for the shooter. No description of a suspect has been released.
No further information on the child’s condition or the case is currently available.
UPDATE (4/8/12):  Further information from another article:
Lisa Ceasar, the boy’s grandmother, who lives in the home where the shooting took place, said her daughter and another woman brought their children to her house. Six children total were playing in a room together that evening.
Her daughter’s friend left for the corner store and when she returned a man, supposedly her ex-boyfriend, followed her, she said.
“I heard noise and then went outside,” Ceasar said. “When I went outside the two were arguing, and then he started shooting the room where the kids was.”
She said the suspect also fired a shot at the porch where she was standing. The child was rushed to the hospital after being struck in the head.
