Toledo school referee had gun stolen from school locker room

Darrel Phillips was a referee during a girl's basketball game at a high school in Toledo, Ohio, back on January 9.  During the game, someone went into the locker room and stole items from his bag.  One of those items was a 9mm Glock handgun, brought illegally onto school property.

His case is now going to trial.

Bringing his handgun to school didn't make anyone safer.
