17-year old girl shot dead on her porch, another wounded, in St. Louis

Two girls were on the porch of a home in St. Louis, Missouri, when a car with four people drove up and opened fire.  One girl, age 17, died from her wound, the other is injured.

Police in the St. Louis suburb of University City are searching for the gunmen who shot and killed a teenage girl as she was sitting on her front porch. 
Another teen was wounded in the drive-by shooting Thursday night. The girl, believed to be 17, was pronounced dead at the scene. 
Her name has not been released. 
The condition of the injured girl was not released. Police say the girls apparently did not know the shooters. 
Witnesses told police that four men in a compact car drove by and one of them opened fire on the house. The motive is not known.
