11-year old girl threatened by father with AK-47

During a domestic dispute in Fayetteville, Georgia, Brandon Ligon, a 40-year old convicted felon, tried to break into the home of his wife or ex-wife.

During the attempt, he cut the phone line to the home, tried to cut the power line, and then pointed his AK-47 at his 11-year old daughter.

Unsuccessful at breaking in, apparently, Ligon then shot at a vehicle in the driveway, twice, before fleeing.

Luckily no one was physically hurt.  He has since been arrested.

One should ask how a convicted felon is able to get an assault rifle in the United States.
