Two teens, ages 17 and 18, killed with assault rifle while riding ATVs

Two teens, ages 17 and 18, were shot to death while riding ATVs in North Philadelphia, apparently with an AK-47.

Police say that Dexter Bowie, 17, and Johnathan Stokely, 18, were shot multiple times and rushed to the hospital were they later died.

Police say the teens were riding ATVs at the time of the shooting. The ATV was earlier stolen, according to authorities.

They also believe the suspect killed the teens with an AK-47. Investigators say 27 shell casings were found at the scene and that some houses were struck.
