13-year old threatened in Minnesota by felon with shotgun

A 13-year old child was asleep when she was awakened by a man with a shotgun, in Wadena, Minnesota.  The girl was able to escape, and adults came and apprehended the man.  The man was a felon.

From the article:
Nicholas Paul Schwenter is accused of pointing a short-barreled shotgun at a sleeping 13-year-old child, telling the minor to get up. The child was able to break a window and get out of the house once Schwenter left the room, according to court records.
Two adults went over to the house to check on the children and found Schwenter holding the gun. He allegedly pointed it at the man before the man wrestled it away from him, court documents said.
Schwenter was taken to the hospital, as he had a broken arm from a fight a week prior to the Feb. 15 incident.
Schwenter has a prior aggravated felony assault charge from Arizona from April 2001.
He was charged in Wadena County District Court with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of having a weapon with no or an altered serial number, and possession of a pistol or assault weapon after conviction or adjudicated delinquent for a crime of violence. The altered serial number charges stem from the gun having a coat of paint obscuring the serial number, court records said.
