11-year old boy shot in chest while playing outside with brother

Tyshaun Grant, age 11
11-year old Tyshaun Grant was enjoying his day outdoors in Chicago, hunting for snakes with his younger brother, when two men in bandanas walked up and shot him in the chest.

From the article:
"He's just a typical child, just playing on a nice day, having fun and he ends up getting shot," said the boy's grandmother, Patricia Island. "I just can't understand why someone would do anything like this. He ain't nothing but an 11-year-old child."
Community activist Andrew Holmes said the boys were looking for snakes near the railroad tracks when two men in bandanas walked up and shot the child. Holmes said he was told by the boy's family the child was shot in the chest.
Island said her grandson was not affiliated with the wrong people.
"He's not in no gang, so this was not gang related," she said.
Tyshaun is currently in stable condition in the hospital.
