From the article:
Coroner Harry O. Harman said a forensic pathologist determined that Kenneth Robert Nay, 19, of Lexington, died within minutes of being shot in his head with a 7.62-mm Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle on Sunday.
The bullet penetrated Nay’s head, resulting in a cerebral contusion, according to a release.
Authorities said they don't believe the shooting was intentional.
According to the warrant, Olson was pointing the rifle towards Nay without checking to see if the rifle was loaded and pulled the trigger.
Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
