6-year old shot in gang crossfire in Spokane

Two men were in a gang-related shootout in Spokane, Washington.  A 23-year old was targeted and injured, but an unintended victim was a 6-year old who was inside of a nearby house.

From the article:
The girl, who was described by authorities as 6 years old, was shot inside a home in the 1800 block of East Fourth Avenue, police said.
Officers responded to reports of one man shooting another in the front yard of the home at about 9 p.m. The man who was shot ran to a neighbor’s house for help before collapsing, police said.
Officers carried the victims to an alley where medics were waiting. They were transported to a local hospital and are in stable condition.
