12-year old Waco child arrested after bringing pellet gun and knife to school

A 12-year old student in Waco, Texas, has been arrested for bringing a pellet gun and knife to school and making threats.

Waco police were called out to Midway Intermediate School around 2 p.m. Monday.

School faculty members kept the child detained and took the alleged weapons from the child until police could make their arrest.

The suspect allegedly made several threats against students.

The child is facing terroristic threat charges and was taken to the a juvenile detention center.

No one was harmed.
