15-year old boy critically injured in San Bernadino

Few details have been released regarding a nearly-fatal shooting of a 15-year old boy, Steven Guzman, in San Bernadino. He was walking with three other friends, and was hit in the head and leg. There were no apparent gang ties. The shooter apparently used a revolver.

San Bernardino Police are looking for the suspect or suspects who shot a 15-year-old boy Friday night.

A group of people were standing in front of a house in the 1500 block of Bell Street around 7:15 p.m. when someone in a passing car fired at them, police said.

The boy suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

According to police, Steven Guzman, 15, was standing among a crowd outside a home on the 1500 block of Belle Street around 7 p.m. Friday when a passing car opened fire.

Guzman was struck in the head and was taken to a hospital. He died of his injury late Saturday evening.
