7-year old boy shot during New Year’s Eve Celebrations

7-year old Alexis Rojas was sitting on his bed in Forest Grove, Oregon, watching TV when a bullet flew through his wall and hit him in the side of his abdomen. From the article:

Police said when they arrived at Rojas’ home in the 1800 block of Yew Court, they heard several gunshots in rapid succession. They believe the shots were fired near the Forest Grove city limit line with Cornelius.
"I was sitting on my bed watching TV," said Rojas. "It sounded like a firework, but a gun shot me."
Police found a bullet hole on the east side of the his home. Nearby vehicles and other structures in the area were also damaged by gunfire, Herb said.

Apparently, celebratory New Year's gunfire had been heard in the area.  The boy was apparently struck by one of those bullets.  No suspects have been identified.

Bullets don't know when to stop.
