Family of teen shooter apologizes for shooting

(this is a follow-up from a previous posting)

A 13 year old boy shot and killed a 12 year old girl on a Chesapeake area playground while playing with a gun. Now the 13 year old's family has apologized for the shooting. We reported about this shooting when it happened- here.

According to another article:

[The girl's mother] Lisa Walker says detectives told her Carolyn was shot in the head during a game of 'Russian Roulette'.
"He shot it up to his head and then he shot it to her head," Walker explained.
Walker says the two children were friends. Her goal is to find out who gave the boy a gun.

A news story about the apology for the shooting can be seen here:

Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
