17-year old Texas boy shot and killed by two teens

From this article:

A 17-year-old searching for someone he thought was trying to break into a car was shot and killed early Sunday in South Austin, police said.

Mark Brandon Dominguez and two of his brothers went outside a home in the Canterbury Trails neighborhood about 12:45 a.m. after they heard suspicious noises, and Dominguez was shot, police spokeswoman Veneza AguiƱaga said. Dominguez was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge, where he died a short time later.

Police scoured the area and found two boys in a taxi, one matching the description and wearing the same clothing as the boy involved in the shooting, AguiƱaga said. Both were carrying guns, she said.

They were both charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, and one was charged with murder. Police did not release their names because they are under 17 years old.

He was shot once, near the navel. The boy lived long enough to mutter a name, when asked who had shot him.

Some witnesses reported teenagers arguing in the area prior to the incident.
