A 9-year old boy and 18-year old girl were shot and injured in a drive-by shooting in Stockton, California. It was not linked to gang involvement in the article, though the area is apparently known for it.

The 9-year-old was shot in the arm and the 18-year-old was grazed on the hip, Lt. Michael Howard said. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
