7-year old girl shot in back by stray bullet in El Cajon

Two men and a 7-year old girl were injured by gunfire in El Cajon, California.  The 7-year old was hit in the back, and apparently was an unintended target.  She was injured in the back, but was not seriously injured.

From the article:

One of the men was treated and released that night, the second was supposed to be go home Tuesday and the girl spent one night in the hospital before going home, Shakowski said.
She suffered a gunshot wound to the back but did not need to have surgery, a family member said. The relative said the youngster was with her family recovering and that she was “doing great.”
Shakowski said the girl was an unintended victim. She was 100 to 150 yards away from where the gunfire erupted when she was struck. Witnesses described hearing as many as eight shots.
Detectives do not know what led to the shooting and only have a vague description of one man involved.

Bullets don't know when to stop.
