13-year old girl wounded in Jacksonville

A 13-year old girl was going along with her older sister and other girls when their group got into an altercation with another group of girls in a car, apparently fighting over a relationship with a man.

(article and news videos)

The attack turned ugly, with the first group hitting the car with sticks and bats, and the girls in the car pulled out guns and started firing, hitting and injuring the 13-year old. It's unclear if the injured girl was one of the ones attacking the car. She is recovering.

UPDATE (1/5/12): The girl's name is Mia Smith, and she was shot twice in the crossfire. Arrests have been made. See HERE and HERE for additional information.
