11-year old girl shot with BB gun in Athens, by two teen boys

An 11-year old girl was walking down a street in Athens, Georgia, when she was shot by someone with a BB gun.  Two teen boys, ages 17 and 18, have been charged for the shooting.

From the article:
Athens-Clarke County police have charged Mr. Charles Anthony Horton, 18, of Winterville and Mr. Joshua Carney, 17, of Athens with felony aggravated assault in the March 4 incident, police spokeswoman Ms. Hilda Sorrow said.
Investigators said someone shot the 11-year-old girl with a BB gun as she was walking down Cedar Shoals Drive last Sunday.
Both teens were booked into the Clarke County Jail early Friday and were being held without bond, police said.

There have been several similar BB gun shootings in the area, at a jogger and at cars, though the article did not speculate if the young men may be charged for those as well.
