13-year old Oakland girl injured in shootout

A 13-year old girl in Oakland, California, was wounded as an innocent bystander in a shootout between two men.

Oakland police say the girl was likely an innocent bystander when she was struck around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
She was taken to a hospital with what KGO-TV reported ( http://bit.ly/zaa5vG) was a gunshot wound to her forearm. She is expected to survive.
Two men were wounded in a shooting at an apartment building around 11 p.m. Sunday. Police say one man was outside the building and another man inside the building. Authorities said their injuries were not life-threatening.
