16-year old and 17-year old killed in crossfire in Chicago

16-year old Jawan Ross and 17-year old Dantril Brown were eating dinner at a Church's Chicken when a man, Arthur Chaney, ran in, chasing another man and shooting at him. Missing his intended target, he instead shot and killed the two teens and injured five other people ranging in ages between 15 to 58.

Ross, according to the Chicago Tribune, was a sophomore at Robeson High
School, loved to play basketball and was "a little comedian," known
for frequently making jokes.

"We thought that he (had) gone to get some dinner," Ross' aunt Latonya
Ross told the Tribune. "Next thing we know, we're getting a call that he's been
shot. He just got caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time."
