13-year old Georgia boy shot to death by 11-yo old and 15-year old

Darius Wallace, age 13
At least three boys under the age of 16 were in an Albany, Georgia home without adults present, when they got hold of a pistol and it went off.

A 13-year old boy was shot in the stomach and later died, Darius Wallace.  An 11-year old is being charged with murder in the case, and a 15-year old boy, whose residence it was.  The 11-year old is the youngest person to be charged with murder in the town's history.

From the article and news footage:

The motive for the shooting is still unclear. What Investigators have been able to establish, there were several kids, under the age of 16, inside this house when 13-year-old Darius Wallace was shot, but there were no adults there.
"More than one person inside of the house. I don't have the exact number of persons involved in witnessing the situation, but there were a number of juveniles inside the house," District Attorney Greg Edwards said.
The house is the home of the 15-year-charged boy, who is an 8th grader at Radium Middle School. Wallace lived down the street.
And there was at least one pistol. Wallace was shot once in the lower abdomen, and died about 10:45 that night. That pistol has not been recovered, and that is why the boys are being held for tampering with evidence.
"We're trying to unravel what's going on. Like I said the appropriate charges will be based on everything that is revealed from the investigation. We want to find out what happened with the forensics of the situation. What the witnesses are saying," Edwards said.
....
Radium Middle School has had 5 students die in the last two years, two from drowning, and three from gunshots, including now Darius Wallace, who school officials describe as a very typical 7th grader.

Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
