A 16-year old Elk River, Minnesota boy was wounded when he shot himself in the foot with a shotgun while hunting pheasants.

From the article:

Benton County Sheriff Brad Bennett says deputies were called to a hunting preserve in Glendorado Township at about 3:15 p.m. Officers found Brandon Rischmiller suffering from a shotgun wound to the foot.
Rischmiller was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
