17-year old boy shot in face in Philadelphia

A 17-year old boy was shot and injured in the face by a man in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Philadelphia.

From the article:

[Chief Inspector] Small said the bullet went through the teen’s nose and was lodged in his skull, but he managed to speak with police.

“A person was apprehended, and the victim himself positively identified the shooter, even though he’s shot and the bullet’s in his head,” Small said.
The suspect, who police said is a 52-year-old man, was taken into custody, and the victim was taken by police to Mercy Philadelphia Hospital before being transferred to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He was listed in critical condition Thursday night.
