11-year old Kentucky boy accidentally shoots and kills 9-year old brother

Malcolm Pennycuff, age 9
An 11-year old boy in southern Kentucky, near Monticello, accidentally shot his 9-year old brother, Malcolm Pennycuff, in the neck with a .22-caliber rifle.  The boys were with their father at the time.

The boy has since died of his wounds.

From a related article:
"He was a loving kid, very kind kid and just a good kid," said Superintendent John Dalton. "I know it's just a sad day for the family and his teachers, classmates and kids that knew him."

Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
