16-year old Texas boy attacked and robbed by young men with pellet guns

Anthony Rust, age 16
A 16-year old Kingwood, Texas boy, Anthony Rust, was skateboarding in Houston when a car full of young men with faces covered with bandanas pulled up. At least two of them, ages 18 and 19, got out of the car and started shooting at the boy with pellet guns and robbed him of his possessions. The boy got away and called police. The two shooters are in custody.

“They robbed him of his possessions - his wallet, some money - at gunpoint,” Senties said. “They tried to take his skateboard, too, but at one point the victim managed to run off with it and called 911.”
According to Senties, the teenager was able to provide a good description of his attackers and their vehicle to responding police officers, and two of the suspects were captured a short while later. The teenage victim, he said, did not sustain serious injuries in the assault and no hospitalization was required.
