13-year old Illinois boy brings gun to school

A 13-year old Aurora, Illinois boy was caught with a loaded handgun in school.

Police say a student heard the boy bragging about the weapon and told school administrators. The boy was pulled out of class and authorities searched his locked, where they found the handgun. Police say the boy didn't plan to use the gun, but wanted to show it off to other students. They say the boy is not involved with gang and wasn't being threatened.

Authorities say they are investigating how the boy got the weapon.

Luckily no one was injured.
